What members and visitors see

How your timetable appears on the member portal and on the public Classes page of your website, and what stays private.

3 min read Updated 04.10.2026 Requires: Schedule

Everything members and visitors see about classes comes from your Schedule board. They can look, but they cannot change anything: there is no booking or cancelling from the portal or the website. To join a class, a member asks your staff, who enrol them.

In the member portal

Members who sign in to the portal (or the app) see:

  • Next class on the portal home: their next three sessions, soonest first, with the day ("Today", "Tomorrow" or the weekday) and start time. View all opens the Schedule page.
  • Schedule in the portal menu, with two parts:
    • Next class: every slot they are enrolled in, with its next date, start and end time and coach. Today's sessions get a Today badge.
    • Full timetable: the whole week of your facility's public classes, one column per day. Their own slots are outlined and marked You. A slot with no places left shows Full.

If a member is not enrolled anywhere, they see "You are not enrolled in a class yet" with a hint to ask the front desk.

The member's own slots are listed under Next class even when the class is hidden from the website. Hidden classes are left out of the Full timetable.

Requires: Member portal

Members reach the portal at your gym's address followed by /member, or through the FitManager app. See The member portal.

On your website

Requires: Gym website

Your gym website has a Classes page. It shows:

  • Every class with Show on the website switched on, with its description, coach, usual duration and default number of spots.
  • A Weekly timetable grid with each slot's time, name, length and coach, and Full on slots that have no places left.
  • A box saying members are enrolled at the front desk, with an Ask about a spot button that opens your contact page.

If you run several locations, visitors pick the location first. A class with no slots yet shows "Times coming soon". When no class is public, the page says the timetable is being prepared.

The home page can also show a classes section linking to the full timetable, see Sections and themes.

What stays private

  • Member names never appear on the website. Visitors only see whether a slot is full.
  • Reservation notes and the notes you add to a member's card are only visible on the dashboard. They do count towards the place count, so a slot can show Full because of notes.
  • Classes with Show on the website switched off are hidden from the website and from the portal timetable.

Keeping it accurate

  • Members see changes as soon as you save them on the Schedule board.
  • When you move a slot to another day or time, or archive it, enrolled members get a notification. See Class reminders.
  • Archive classes and slots you no longer run, so the website timetable does not advertise them.

Common questions

A member sees an old class time

They may be looking at a cached page. Ask them to refresh. If the slot itself is wrong, edit it from ... > Edit on the board.

Can members see who else is in their class?

No. The portal shows only their own enrolment and how full each slot is.
